The super car is capable to a reach 203 MPH to catch you anywhere you go.

This Lamborghini isn’t only about speed; it’s also pretty smart, equipped with all kinds of high-tech police gadgets.

  • An automatic number plate recognition system can track and send plate data in real-time to central control rooms
  • A forward-looking camera is capable of data-logging GPS information to the video information and transmitting the live feed to offices in real-time
  • The vestigial trunk up front is put to good use as a first-response medical platform and refrigerated box for high-speed organ transport

Unfortunately, on 30 November 2009, when the Italian police unveiled their state-of-the-art Lamborghini patrol cars, they cannot have been short of volunteers itching to take the supercars in pursuit of speeding criminals.

A team of elite drivers was trained to chase down speeding motorists and deliver urgently-needed transplant organs in the futuristic vehicles, capable of reaching more than 200mph.

What they apparently were not prepared for was a distracted motorist who pulled out of a petrol station without looking.
